PINOCCHIO

November 10 - 18th

The classic story of a wooden puppet who wants to become a real boy. Doctor Fox and Professor Cat present a "Cautionary Tale for Boys and Girls" in this interactive adventure which brings Pincchio nose-to-wooden nose with Fire Eater, the Blue Fairy, talking donkeys, and a magical penguin. Pinocchio learns to do what is right instead of being manipulated by others in the stunning, national award-winning production.

RIDE THE RED MARE

December 15 - 16th

A brave girl sets out through the snowy woods to rescue her little brother from the trolls. She's helped by her wooden horse, a small toy that's transformed into a powerful mare to carry her through the darkness. Accompanied by an elegant music score by Third Angle New Music Ensemble, this play is a magical holiday treat.

BABA YAGA

February 2 - 10th

Join Tears of Joy on an enchanted outing to a Russian forest. Marusia is there, lost in the deep dark wood. Baba Yaga is also there in her house that walks on chicken legs. Marusia is stuffed into a stewpot where she is joined by Hedgehog. To win their freedom, they set out on a quest for the magical black sunflower guarded by a fearsome dragon. This musical play has songs you can't stop singing.

STELLALUNA

April 11 - 20th

Adapted from the popular book Stellaluna by Jannell Cannon, this is the enchanting story of a baby fruit bat who falls into a bird's nest. Poor Stellaluna tries to adjust her home but finds herself the odd one out, hanging by her feet and disgusted by those bugs Mother Bird brings home for dinner. What a relief to discover she is a bat! Featuring music by Portland's gamelan orchestra - Vernerable Showers of Beauty.

• Inspire children to read.

• Encourages the acceptance of differences in others.
